 We are delighted to offer this exciting opportunity for professional dancers, BA graduates and students to work with us on a wide range of repertoire across a three-day intensive.
Each day will include creative work, body awareness sessions and choreography (including our repertoire). The sessions will build upon participants existing dance skills and experience and offer opportunities to explore a range of ideas through creative contemporary dance. Every day will begin with company class; this will focus on skeletal alignment; articulate placement and core stability- leading the dancers to move fluidly with precision, power and strength facilitating a neutral and controlled understanding of the body’s physicality in performance. The primary focus of this residency will be the choreographic process and staging by working with repertory-based solos, duets & group work participants will gain an in-depth understanding of the company’s work. Dancers are encouraged to attend for the full three days of the intensive as each session will build and develop on the material explored the day before. However, if you can only join for one or two sessions you are still very welcome.
