A huge thank you to everyone who has already completed the Dancers Connected Survey. Your input is incredibly valuable and is helping us build a stronger picture of the dance sector.
If you haven’t had a chance yet, there’s still time to take part. Every response makes a difference, so we’d really appreciate you completing and sharing the survey. 📢 Help shape the future of Scotland's dance sector White & Givan has launched two national workforce surveys as part of the development of Dancers Connected – a new initiative exploring how, by working collaboratively across the sector, we can better support professional freelance dancers to sustain long-term performing careers alongside teaching, while building stronger partnerships with dance teachers and practitioners. We're inviting responses from: Professional dancers currently based in Scotland, or those who have trained or worked professionally in Scotland and dance teachers and practitioners working across all dance forms and settings. The surveys explore employment, training, artistic development, local networks, sustainability and the conditions needed for dancers to build long-term careers in Scotland. If you're part of the dance sector, we'd love to hear your voice. If you're an organisation, school, company or network, we'd be hugely grateful if you could share the surveys with your communities. 🗓 Deadline: Friday 31 July (midnight) Link to both surveys: https://www.whiteandgivan.com/survey.html Funded by: Creative Scotland #DancersConnected #DanceScotland #DanceSector #FreelanceDance #DanceEducation #ArtsScotland
