We are delighted to share that Creative Scotland has awarded funding to support the development of Dancers Connected – a unique dancer-first model that reimagines company infrastructure within a freelance context through a place-based approach designed to support exceptional dance talent and grow audiences for contemporary dance in Scotland.

Bringing together Colin Baird’s experience in designing fundable place-based approaches with Errol White and Davina Givan’s expertise as dancers/performers, choreographers and educators, the programme recognises the interconnectedness of PRODUCTION, TALENT and AUDIENCE to increase employment for dancers – first and foremost as performers.
